A Livella system takes full advantage of the benefits of surface‐fixed technology by individually heating (and automating) smaller areas so they run only when occupied. This is only possible as the heating cables are located directly under the floor coverings allowing heat to escape rapidly into the room above.

 

A properly configured surface‐fixed floor heating system only runs when rooms are occupied and when warmth is genuinely needed. There is no general need to turn off the system other than when the home will not be occupied for some time.
