Designed for Safety from the Ground Up

Livella’s underfloor heating cable features a superior design that affords the highest levels of electrical safety and protection. The solid & robust centre core –the resistance wire that generates heat – is insulated by a heavy-duty material, shielded with a woven copper earth screen (32 strands in all) and insulated again by a high-temperature tolerant sheath.

Safe in Wet Areas

The heating cable is waterproof – having exceeded the requirements of IPX7 – so is perfectly safe in all wet areas including bathrooms, showers, wet rooms and other public amenities. In the unlikely case of accidental damage – drilling a doorstop through the floor, for example – the RCD-protected circuit instantly disconnects power from the heating cable.
