Floor Heating That's Easy to Install
Livella’s flexible floor heating cables are installed quickly and easily on all types of subfloors directly under all types of coverings. Uniquely, Livella’s single superbly engineered installation methodology guarantees the same consistent effect under tiles, laminates, and hardwood – always covering 100% of the floors.
No Interruption to Construction
In most cases installation takes only 20 – 40 minutes in small areas and 40 – 60 minutes in larger living spaces. While flooring professionals can often begin their work straight away, an optional floor-leveling product requires overnight to set.
Three Easy Steps to a Heated Floor
Subfloor Preparation – First, the subfloor is swept to reveal a clean and level surface. If necessary, a quick-drying sealant or primer is applied to create a suitable surface on which the fixing tape can be applied.
Measure & Design – Second, the available floor area of the zone is measured and matched with a suitably rated heating element (using a standard sizing guide.) This step determines the optimal spacing interval between runs of the cable to ensure the even and correct distribution of heat.
Fixing of the Cable – Finally, the cable is looped back and forth across the room, returned to the starting point – typically below the thermostat – and pulled into the wall for connection to the electrical supply.

Optional Cable Protection
Livella’s thin but robust heating cables are Tiler-friendly so can be installed over with minimal fuss. Alternatively, your flooring professional may request the application of a floor-leveling product over the heating cables.
Have it Installed – Or Do it Yourself!
Livella floor heating systems are available as part of a professional design and installation service or as retail-packaged self-installation kits from your local authorized stockist.
It couldn’t be easier for families to enjoy warmer, more comfortable living spaces. Livella’s flexible heating cables install quickly – and affordably – on all types of subfloors to economically heat tiles, timber, carpet and vinyl.
