The Livella Mirror Defogger keeps your bathroom mirror clear through hot showers, so there is no wiping, waiting or trying to find a steam-free section of glass.
Installed discreetly behind the mirror, the self-adhesive heating pad gently warms the glass to help prevent condensation from settling on the surface. Once installed, it remains completely hidden from view.
Choose from three sizes to suit compact mirrors, standard bathroom vanities or wider mirrors spanning a larger vanity. Each model operates on standard 240V power and is supplied with a plug and 1.2m cable, ready for connection by a licensed electrician.
The mirror defogger can be connected to a bathroom light switch, a dedicated switch or a compatible Livella Dual Control Thermostat, depending on your preferred setup and electrical requirements.

HOW TO USE
Choosing the Right Size
Select a defogger that is smaller than the overall dimensions of your mirror, allowing adequate clearance around the edges and any existing lighting, wiring or mounting hardware.
The defogger clears the section of the mirror directly in front of the heating pad. For larger mirrors, choose a larger pad to create a wider clear viewing area.

Can the mirror defogger run from my bathroom light switch?
Yes. Mirror defoggers are commonly wired to operate with the bathroom light or connected to a dedicated switch. Your licensed electrician can recommend the best option for your bathroom.
Can I control it with a Livella thermostat?
Yes. The mirror defogger can be connected to the second output of the Livella Dual Control Thermostat, allowing it to be scheduled independently from the underfloor heating.
Will it work with a backlit mirror?
It may be suitable, provided there is enough clear space behind the mirror. Your installer must check the location of the mirror’s lighting, wiring, mounting points and other components before installation.
Does the pad clear the entire mirror?
The defogger clears the area of glass directly in front of the heating pad. Selecting a larger pad will provide a larger clear section.
Can the pad be trimmed to fit?
No. The mirror defogger must not be cut, folded, pierced or altered. Choose a size that fits within the
clear area behind your mirror.
Who should install the mirror defogger?
The pad can be adhered to the back of the mirror during installation, but all electrical connections must be completed by a licensed electrician.
